Business automation and practical AI for small businesses
We connect the tools you already pay for so data stops being retyped, and put AI to work on specific jobs where it is accurate enough to trust. Built by engineers, at a fixed price.
What we automate
Most automation in a business of 10 to 250 people is not glamorous. It is the order that arrives by email and gets typed into a spreadsheet, then typed again into the accounts. It is the enquiry that waits in a shared inbox, the report someone builds by hand every Monday, the invoice nobody chases until it is late. Each one is small. Together they take days a month.
Finance and admin
Orders, invoices and bills flowing into Xero, Sage or QuickBooks. Payment chasers sent on schedule. Month-end reports that build themselves.
Sales and enquiries
Website forms, portal leads and emails logged in the CRM, matched to the right person and followed up the same day.
Operations
Job sheets, quotes, stock updates and bookings moving between systems without copy and paste.
Customer service
Common questions answered or drafted for approval, with the tricky ones routed to the right person.
Documents
Contracts, PDFs and supplier price lists read, checked and filed. Key details pulled out into a sheet.
Reporting
Live dashboards that pull from your systems, so nobody spends Monday morning in Excel.
Where AI fits, and where it doesn't
We use language models for jobs with a clear right answer: reading an invoice, sorting an enquiry, pulling fields out of a contract, drafting a reply for a person to approve. Before anything goes live we test it on a batch of your real examples and tell you how often it got things right.
- Anything the system is unsure about goes to a person.
- Every action is logged, so you can see what happened and why.
- We use business AI plans that don't train on your data.
- If a simple rule or a better spreadsheet does the job, we'll tell you and skip the AI.
Tools we work with
We build around what your team already uses: Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Shopify, WooCommerce, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Monday, Airtable, Notion and most systems with an API or a spreadsheet export. Replacing software your team knows is rarely the cheapest fix.
Small internal tools
Sometimes the right answer is a small app: a quoting tool, a job tracker or a dashboard your team opens in a browser. We build these in TypeScript and Python, host them in your own cloud account, and hand over the code.
Team training
A practical half day for up to 15 people, built around your team's real tasks, plus a plain English policy on what can and can't go into AI tools. £1,200.
How a project runs
Every project starts with the Walkthrough: two days watching the real work, then a written plan with costs and savings. You pick what to build, we give a fixed price and a date, and you see progress every week. After go-live you get training, written notes and 30 days of fixes. You own the code and the accounts.
What will it cost?
Our guide What does AI automation cost a small business? sets out real tool prices, build costs and three worked payback examples, so you can do the sums before you talk to anyone.
